It’s a myth. A fairytale on tarmac. A dance on the edge.
And here we go again: Monaco is calling this weekend.
🏎️ What makes the Monaco Grand Prix so special?
It’s not the fastest track. Not the most modern. Not the safest.
But it is the most legendary. Between luxury yachts and unforgiving barriers, it all comes down to nerve, millimetres, and moments. One mistake? You’re out. One overtake? Pure magic.
Monaco is where legends are made – Senna, who owned these streets with six iconic wins. Where Graham Hill became “Mr. Monaco.” Where Schumacher, Lauda and Senna wrote unforgettable chapters of racing history.

It’s the only track where you come out of a tunnel and think:
This isn’t racing – this is art.
Monaco is the ultimate focus test. No breathing space, no room for error. Just you, the wall – and trust in your talent.
❤️ Maybe that’s the magic:
Every inch matters. Every mistake is punished.
And in the end, it’s not always about horsepower – it’s about character.
📈 Monaco GP Economic Highlights (2022–2024):
– Around €90–100 million economic impact per year – about 1.5% of Monaco’s GDP.
– Over €20 million in revenue from ticket sales, VIP hospitality and terrace rentals.
– More than 200,000 visitors over the race weekend – five times the city’s population.
– Hotels, harbours and bars? Packed to the brim. Even the heliport hits full capacity.
– Monaco has extended its F1 contract through 2031, now with a title sponsor: Say hello to the TAG Heuer Grand Prix de Monaco.
🎥 And if you still think it’s all glitz and no skill – I highly recommend a bit of F1 gold: I still love that Red Bull Racing & Red Bull Technology video from a few years back where World Champion Max Verstappen and fan favourite Daniel Ricciardo break down the Monaco track using a Carrera slot car set – complete with overtaking tips, tunnel fails and a whole lot of laughs. Great content! 😄

Can’t wait for the weekend.
Who’s your pick to win the crown jewel of the Côte d’Azur?
And what’s your all-time favourite Monaco GP memory?
